Gently poke a fork prong into the top of the syringe to widen it and this will help thick mixtures go into the syringe easier.
Make a mash of pellets by adding hot water (not boiling) and allow to cool before giving it to your rabbit.
If you are syringe feeding critical care mixture, add some normal pellets also to the mixture. It’s more palatable to them and you may find they will take it more willingly.
Critical care sachets can be made up and frozen for up to 6 months.
